Natural beauty recipes with coconut

Facial cleanser…and clean up!

You will need:

  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 2 tablespoons of fresh cream

Mix the ingredients together until the mixture becomes uniform. Lightly massage with circular movements for 5 minutes and then rinse off with plenty of warm water.

Therapeutic oil…the natural solution for eczema!

You will need:

  • 20 ml of coconut oil
  • 9 drops of geranium essential oil
  • 4 drops of lavender essential oil

Mix the ingredients together and apply to the affected area twice a day.

Face mask…acne meets its match!

You will need:

  • 1 teaspoon of coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon of clay powder
  • 4 drops of tea tree essential oil

Mix the ingredients together. Massage your face with the mixture for a few seconds, avoiding the eye area. Allow the mask to work for 20 minutes. Rinse off with plenty of warm water.

Anti-wrinkle serum…with a unique fragrance!

You will need:

20 ml of coconut oil
4 drops of cinnamon oil and optionally 1 drop of frankincense essential oil
Mix the ingredients together and massage your wrinkles with the mixture every night. Caution! Do not use more than 4 drops on all of your face.

Conditioning hair mask…for deep nutrition and hydration!

You will need:

  • 1 avocado
  • Coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon of aloe vera gel
  • Peel and mash the avocado. Gradually add the coconut milk and then the aloe, and stir until the mixture becomes uniform. Apply the mixture to your hair and leave it on for 10-15 minutes.
  • Rinse off with warm water.

Nourishing body paste…ideal for dry skin

You will need:

  • 1 tablespoon of coconut butter
  • 1 teaspoon of beeswax
  • 100 ml of almond oil
  • 20 drops of vanilla oil (for fragrance)

Heat the beeswax and the coconut butter in a bain-marie. Once the mixture has acquired a clear, oily appearance, gradually add the almond oil, stirring so as to bind the ingredients. Store in a clean, glass jar. Allow it to cool for 2 hours, and then use it on your body, elbows and knees!
