Make your own…

SKIN TONIC LOTION

Amazing for stimulation and nourishment.

You will need: *one apple *1 tablespoon of vodka (optional) *1 tablespoon of rosewater * 7 drops of fresh lemon juice.

Cut the apple into 4 pieces and boil for two minutes in 500 ml of water. Drain the apples and put the juice into a glass bottle, preferably with a spray top. Add the vodka (only if you have very oily skin or acne, otherwise you can omit this), the rosewater and the lemon juice. Wait for the mixture to cool and store in the fridge. Spray your skin for revitalisation or just apply the lotion with a cotton wool pad. Don’t forget that it only keeps for one week.

APPLE FACIAL PEELING

For velvety skin.

You will need: *1 teaspoon of apple lotion *2 teaspoons of sugar.

Mix the lotion with the sugar and massage the mixture on your skin for 2 minutes, avoiding the area around the eyes. Rinse off with warm water.

FACE MASK

Ideal for acne.

You will need: *1 apple *2 tablespoons of fresh yoghurt.

First boil the apple and then mash it in a blender. Take one tablespoon of the apple pulp and add it to the fresh yoghurt. Mix it well. Spread the mixture on your face and neck for 20 minutes and then rinse off with warm water.

MOISTURISING MASK

For ‘thirsty’ skin…

You will need: *1 apple *1 tablespoon of honey

Prepare the apple pulp by following the instructions in the previous recipe. Once the pulp has cooled down, mix it with the honey. Apply the mixture as a mask for 20 minutes and rinse off with warm water.

FOR PUFFY EYES

The best remedy.

If your eyes are puffy and tired looking when you wake up in the morning, just put a slice of cold apple on them for 10 minutes. And a piece of advice: avoid using oily creams near the eyelids.
